
Chromecast not detected on device ?
Chromecast works mainly with a 2.4Ghz connection on a b/g/n network. If you are using a 5Ghz network or a 802.11AC connection, there will be possible issues with your device detecting your Chromecast.
- Try using another device, such as a cell phone, tablet, or another computer
- Disable the 5Ghz and wireless N capabilities on your router
- Reset your Chromecast
Hold down the button (next to the micro USB port) on your Chromecast for at least 25 seconds or until the solid light begins flashing.
Disconnect the USB power cable.
Wait a few seconds and connect the USB cable again.
